Detailed Product Description

It is mainly comprised of switch cabinet, series reactors, electrical equipment cabinet and relay protection screen. The series reactors can be arranged inside the capactor stand or seperately placed. The arrangement of the switch cabinet and relay protection screen are decided by the client itself. This whole-set device produced by our company is characteristic of compact structure, appropriate arrangement, safety design and reliable performance.

The capacitor is usually comprised of capacitor stand, paralleling capacitors, circuit breaker, discharge coil, voltage mutual inductor, isolation switches, supproting electrical insulators, connection busbar, etc. Devices with voltage grade at 6KV and 10 KV are usually installed with net gate and side plate.

The circuit breaker and the capacitor are connected in series. When part of the series connection groups inside the capacitor breaks down( usually 60% to 70 %) , the circuit breaker ( connected with the capacitor in series) activates and removes the faulty capacitor from the capacitor group, keeping faults from worsening.

Discharge coil ( or voltage mutual inductor) is connected with the capacitor loop in parallel.

When the remaining voltage of the cut-off capacitor drops  from KV to below than 50V., zinc oxide ligthning arrester forms into a Y shpae connected into the circuit and its neutral point is connected to the earth, preventing the over-voltage by operation.

Insulation switch can be connected insulated to the circuit or to the ground or to both.

Series capacitors are connected to the capacitor circuit in series, mainly refraing the switch-on inrush effects. Capacitors should be chosen , the rated inactive reactance (X_L) of which is  (0.1 - 1)% of the rated capacitance of each capacitor group (Xc) ; capacitors with X_L  being  (4.5 6) % of Xc should be chosen to refrain the harmonic wave more than 5 times; capacitors with X_L  being  (12 13) % of Xc should be chosen to refrain the harmonic wave more than 3 times.
