Press is one of five important equipments in longitudinal seam submerged arc welding pipe plant. The machine used to crimp the plate edge before pipe forming. The plate is moved on the roller table into between upper and lower tool step by step after edge mill. The plate is bent during shifted in the press force produced between two tools. Change of tools position can obtain curvature radius of approximating to finished pipe. Two presses are installed oppositely and work in synchronization with one another.
The press plant consists of a c-shaped frame, a cylinder unit supporting spindles, a transport roller table, a hydraulic, electric control, tool and changing device, tools baseframe etc, which do not include forward and backward transfer roller road.
